Pipe Docks

The DockinaBox® modular pipe dock systems are exceptionally versatile due to angled pipe legs. It is very evident when compared to other docks that these stabilizing legs allow for a greater height to width ratio while maximizing structural strength. Our dock systems have even more stability than other dock systems especially in deep water due to telescopic cross braces. This allows the dock to be placed in water deeper than 6 feet, which is not possible with other dock systems.

One of our most popular pipe dock systems utilizes a medium weight non-recycled wood/polyethylene composite, which has better qualities than other recycled composites. It has excellent traction when wet, yet feels very comfortable on the feet and is not hot when in direct sunlight. This type of composite has a very natural wood-like colour and may be preferred for a more natural surface. It also has a density heavier than water; so unlike wood, the panels cannot float the dock away.

The second type of floating dock that DockinaBox® sells is made of fiberglass reinforced plastic panels, which is considerably lighter. This product is called DeckWave™ and is even more manageable as it is 1/3 the weight of most other decking panels. The DeckWave™ panels have a semi-open grid pattern, which allows light and water to pass through naturally. This is a popular choice for environmentally conscious areas. Both of the pipe dock options will considerably outlast any cedar or wood type decking choice on the market. All DockinaBox® dock systems are in a kit form and are easy to transport and put together. The decking panels can be removed easily, making the dock frame lightweight for spring and fall installation and removal.
